This "Passover Brisket" was also something to remember this holiday! It was absolutely wonderful!..and the aroma which filled the kitchen! Thanks Emeril for sharing this recipe for I am confident it will become part of our holiday "traditions". My husband only suggested that I consider
"kicking up" the chile sauce from mild to medium intensity. Do you have a chile sauce recipe you'd like to share?

I am excited to use this recipe again for this years passover seder. My family loved it so much last year they specifically asked for it again. They said it was the best brisket ever tasted. I agree.

Ohmigosh!!! This is some good stuff. I followed the recipe exactly EXCEPT I doubled the BAM factor (Emeril's creole seasoningand thickened the juices to a nice gravy. My husband and his family are Jewish, I am Greek, my neighbors are Asian, Hispanic, Italian, Caucasian and African American. Not only did everyone LOVE this and want the recipe...they ALL claimed that it was "just like Mom's, only BETTER".
FOUR 10-LB BRISKETS FOR 17 ADULTS AND NO LEFTOVERS !!! It is that good!!

I made this for my family last year for our Easter (held at my house for the first time. They loved it so much, I had no leftovers and they said that I am responsible for our Easter dinner this year. Thanks Emeril and I love you :

This recipe was OK. I'd not say it was anything extra special. It pretty much tasted like other brisket recipes I've used.
