This recipe was so delicious and extremely easy to make. The time allocated is actually correct. I thought about substituting the bacon with proscuitto but I'm so glad I didn't. The bacon made the dish. YUM!!!

    Excellent! I made several changes:
    1. I used 8 oz. cream and 1/2 cup reserve pasta water.
    2. I used penne instead of tortellini.
    3. I used broccoli instead of peas.
    4. I added minced garlic.
    5. I used 10 slices of bacon.

It was so tasty! Very easy and it came together so nicely. It is a rich meal, but the flavor is bursting. Gotta love bacon!

The deliciousness of this dish will, of course, depend on your tortellini selection. (I used one bought at Costco. It's a good recipe, but needs more spices, and a llittle more cream. This would easily serve 4, and more likely 6 or 7 people.

Mmmm....good. I didn't have heavy cream but I had whole milk on hand. By letting it cook down, it still gave a great taste. Try adding a pat or 2 of butter to make it even creamier and a little garlic for a little more umph. This is a keeper regardless. Thanks Emeril!

This is such an easy dish to make with simple ingredients. I also sauteed sliced cremini mushrooms (10 oz. package after cooking the onions and seasoned w/ salt & pepper to taste before adding the cream. Broccoli or asparagus would be great as well. The dish seems to serve more like 4 than 2, depending on appetite of course.

Fast and easy and a sneaky way to get my husband to eat vegetables!

I love this recipe. I didn?t have peas, so I used spinach instead. My whole family loved it. My 8 and 3yeras old don?t care for vegetables, but this way, they ate everything. It?s too bad that I can?t make this all the time, because it?s heavy in calories.

This is so easy and quick. We really enjoy it. I finally got smart and saved this to My Recipe Box. I always have had to look it up every time I want to fix it. :
