I used the crust from this recipe for Apple Dumplings. I was out of shortning so I used butter. Used brown sugar instead of white, don't recall which it called for. Very pretty, very tasty.

I love this recipe. The cinnamon crust is very unique and holds up really well to the fillings and frying. This is very orginal and fantastic tasting.

I tried this recipe twice but it never worked for me. I ended up with clumpy globs of unedible gunk.
