    This cheesecake was very delicious -- My husband and the boys (3 ask for this cheesecake always. It has become a favorite dessert after a meal of Tuscan Tomato Bisque and salad -- Cheesecake is easy to make -- I didnt have liqueur or brandy that it called for so I used Disaronno and it come out just as good. Love it.

    Great recipe. The pears I used were right off the tree so they were a tad hard. I just cooked them longer in the syrup. Rave reviews from all who tasted the cake.

    This was a fun cheesecake to make. I was a tad disappointed that my pears turned out a little too mushy and the flavor of them wasn't as good as I thought it would have been, but they may have not been quite ripe.
    It was still a hit in my apartment!
