This is a delicious and easy pie, but mine was burnt after an hour. The store bought pie crust and the top layer of pecans were burnt. Don't get me wrong, we ate it happily anyway. But I suggest checking it often and perhaps even covering it with foil for part of the cooking time.

This was a great recipe for a novice pecan pie maker like me. Next time I will place foil on it because the pecans were slightly browned and overcooked.

I made this pecan pie through thanksgiving and Christmas and it was a winner every time. I got many compliments on this. It was easy and quick to make Thanks once again.

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was easy to prepare and tasted great. There was a fight for the last slice.
