I've made this on multiple occasions for both sweet and savory dishes and it has come out perfect every time.

Not only is this a perfect crust recipe, the left over crust pieces make a perfect "cooks treat". Just combine the left over piects of crust and roll them out on to a cookie sheet. Then spred with a libral amount of softened butter and sprinkle with your favorite mixture of cinnamon sugar. Bake in a 350 oven for approx. 20-25 min. Remove from oven&cool ,then break apart and enjoy.

This recipe is very good but i have a better one. Much better texture, flaky, and will not sweat in the backing tin. To inprove this one use butter flavored shortening.

This was SO easy!! After making this dough I don't understand why people still buy pre-made pie dough! It was DELICIOUS too! It was rich, flaky (I added about a teaspoon of water less than I should haveand absolutely the best pie dough I've ever had! I almost wanted to just scoop out the pie filling and eat it by itself!

My family is very picky about pie crusts. Most crusts are to dry and tasteless, but this dough is right on the money. Excellent!
