    This gets two stars for being "fair". Nothing special -- if anything, it's a little strong. The sweetness of the pineapple juice is pretty much negated completely by the rum.

    Made this one really hot evening for my husband who normally doesn't like cocktails, just wine. He was floored at how good it was and even asked for a second. I used simple syrup rather than sugar and a really high quality, small batch golden rum. Not too sweet!

    I made this daiquiri by the recipe , I had all the ingredents on hand and it was very good. I will add it to my list of favorite drinks.
