I liked the pineapple flavor, and the hint of heat from the chiles, but overall the sorbet was a little too sweet for our tastes. If you like tangy sorbets, you may want to pass this one up. On the other hand, if you like them very sweet, you'll love it.

A variation of this sorbet has become enormously popular as a margarita, and it's great. Simply made, you set a few spears of pared, cored fresh pineapple and a halved jalapeno in a jar with a fifth of tequila. Set the jar in a dark place for a couple of weeks, and serve over lots of ice.

Didn't like this at all. I like hot and spicy with fruity, but this didn't work for me.

At my first attempt of trying this recipe I found it to be both cold and hot at the same time. I think the next time I do this I will maybe add a little more pinapple than chili's. On the overall taste it was fabuloso.

I made the pineapple Jalepeno sorbet yesterday and I have to say it is simply fantastic. I can't wait to get the reaction from family and friends. It is sweet with a nice proportion of pepper flavor with a little bit of after bite. Its GREAT. I can't wait to make the apple glazed ribs next. I've gone to never having made home made ice cream to now owning 3 machines.
Next time I'm thinking of maybe adding a touch of ginger to it. What do you think?
