Excellent! Improvised a little by adding real bacon bits to potatoes. Also addded leftover bits of cheese in the frig, pepper jack and shredded parmasan and topped with shredded cheddar. Will make this again and try the diced green chiles as someone suggested. Quick and Easy! ;

As always, Emeril's recipes rock. This was very good. I was surprised when I read the reviews that the potatoes were not cooked enough since the recipe calls for cooked potatoes. If you are one of those people, I suggest you give this recipe another shot and be sure to boil the potatoes first. Just make sure they are not mushy when you remove them from the water. I will go a little heavier with the seasoning next time though.

People, read the ingredients! It says the potatoes should be cooked BEFORE you put them into the baking dish. Excellent recipe by the way. for a bit of crunch, add some breadcrumbs to the top.

As Rachel Ray would say..YUM-O!! One of the biggest complaints I see people posting is raw potatoes. Now, I almost overlooked this crucial step, and it was right in the ingredients and it says "cooked potatoes" . so the potatoes are fully cooked prior to putting this in the oven. I added extra cheese (of course and this was just down right delicious. Thanks Em, you're the best. :D

Followed the recipe to a T. Really bad. Potatoes were still raw and undercooked. Was a great side dish to a pork tenderloin that was overly salty.
Try something else..................
Sorry E!

I followed advice of previous posts and added one cup of cheese to the sauce. I also sautéd a large sweet onion thinly sliced, in some butter until caramelized and grated two garlic cloves into the onions the last two minutes. I added the onions to the potatoes and sauce. Turned out awesome! These got rave reviews at Christmas dinner.

This was an easy recipe to follow and delicious. I followed the advice of many reviewers and cooked it for 30 min. I also added cheese to the sauce, more salt, and a small can of mild green chiles to replicate a recipe at one of my favorite restaurants. It turned out great and I will definitely make it many, many times again.

Loved this recipe. What a great new way to serve potatoes. Add extra cheese and yes cook it longer.

This recipe turned out to be very good and easy to make. It did take longer to cook then the recipe said about 40 to 45 minutes.
