Loved this recipe. What a great new way to serve potatoes. Add extra cheese and yes cook it longer.

This recipe turned out to be very good and easy to make. It did take longer to cook then the recipe said about 40 to 45 minutes.

I really wish I had read the reviews first that it was going to take longer. It kindof ruined my dinner. My slicer cut them less than 1/2 inch and it still took 30 minutes plus to cook. Otherwise, they were good. But PLEASE if you're a time planner in the kitchen like me, it takes longer than 10 minutes, no doubt. Maybe Emeril's oven cooks faster than mine!

I added some garlic and bacon bits to the top.
We all enjoyed the crunch of the cheese and the crispy bacon bits on the top.
It took a little longer to cook. I must have cut the potatoes a little thick.
My family wants me to make it again.

This recipe turned out really good. It didn't take long to put together, and the steps were easy to follow. I would make it again.

I made it for the first time for my Mother in law who had never had Potatoes au Gratin before. I used 8oz of chedder cheese and added Parmesan cheese, bacon and chives and it tuned out amazing. I sprinkled the chives over the top about 5 min before I pulled it out of the oven. I also cooked them for 30 min instead of 15. I recommend this to anyone who wants a good easy side dish. My Mother loved them!!!

I come from a family where the saying "cheese makes the world go round" is always heard in the kitchen. So, on the advice of several reviews, I doubled the cheese, and I can honestly say EVERYONE loved this dish. The potatoes were very tender, and this was much better than even my mother's (sorry mom.

This recipe is good, but I took the advice of other reviewers and added about 1 cup of cheddar cheese to the sauce mix to make it more flavorful. Very creamy and tasty, but could use something to spice it up a bit for our tastes. Next time I make it, I will add some onions -- saute them in butter, then make the sauce in the pan with the onion 'drippings', add some garlic, brown a bit more for a crispier crust (more like 20 mins than 10, and maybe add a few bread crumbs. Yummy. Can't wait to prepare a 'remake'.

We used more cheese than it called for, and the second time we made it, we stirred some cheese into the potatoes. We absolutely loved this dish.
