This was the easiest recipe that I have ever used and I received raves over it.
    Thanks Emeril!

This soup was just okay. I made the receipe exactly as Emeril did and I didn't like it too much.. Sorry Emeril- I still love you! My husband enjoyed it! I really loved the tortilla soup from this episode and it was just to die for...

i made this for a quick weeknight meal and it was great!! i made a few adjustments in my seasoning that i dont think emeril would mind-i added 1 tsp of cayenne (it was an accident-but a tasty accident and also added some essence. it had quite a spicy kick to it, but my family likes spicy foods. i garnished with rice and also added some sour cream and an avacado slice to help cut the heat. it was delicious.

I made this meal vegetarian by using vegetarian sausage and vegetable broth. It turned out very good! Be careful when adding cayenne to it. I made the mistake of adding a little extra once... trust me, it was too spicy to eat (and I love spicy!. Very simple to make as well!
