Followed the recipe exactly, but it has too much orange peel...gave the vodka a somewhat bitter "bite". To make sure that I didn't get any "pith" in the recipe, I used a peeler and peeled the orange with that. But I think the peel of HALF an orange would be much better. I like it enough that I'm going to make another batch that way, and might even make an additional batch with a small amount of lemon peel instead....raspberry and lemon work well together.

This is so easy and ready to drink w/in a few hours. We keep this chilled in the frig (or icebox, as E would sayand use it in so many ways. It's great mixed with some superfine sugar and frozen like a sorbet, use in jello shots for a party or make a great sauce for whitefish. Just a really cool thing to have in your frig.
