I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a HUGE hit. I served it warm with vanilla ice cream. Very rich & chocolatey.

This was so easy to make and so delicious!! It is very chocolatey, but that's certainly nothing to complain about!

Will definitely be our go to pecan pie recipe!

This recipe was very easy to make, but as others stated it does darken very quickly and almost has a burnt appearance. I also found that if you're using a frozen pie crust, use the deep dish crust. I used a regular 9 inch crust for my test pie and I just couldn't fit all the filling in without it spilling over. Overall very tasty recipe and definitely lives up to its title of rich.

I am a very inexperienced baker, and i found this super-easy to make! However, my only qualm is that it came out a little mushy (it was hard to slice and fell apart, and this was probably due to my lack of experience. Regardless, it came out delicious - last night i made my "test" one, I am making another tonight for the holiday!

This was very easy to make.... but it may be too sweet for my taste. I had half of a normal size piece and it was just overwhelming. It had great flavor, the sauce was delicious and I served it with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. Maybe it's just not my style, I could probably have a bit and that would be enough.

Made this yesterday and it was a hit. I didn't feel it was too sweet though as others suggested... will definately be making it again!

Yes, it's rich...but it is so good. It's like cheesecake - you don't need a HUGE piece. Just a little one with some icecream and that carmel sauce.

    HEAVEN!!

Very good, but extremely sweet! And as other reviewers have stated, browns very quickly and looks almost burned, but tastes great!

Yum! So delicious. I didn't even try the sauce, since I could tell the pie would be really sweet. Vanilla ice cream was perfect with it.
