    I used the mini chocolate chips and added a pinch more salt. It was perfect with vanilla ice cream. I didn't make the caramel sauce, but will try it next time.

    This pie is delicious! If I could only have one dessert this would be it. The combination of pecans and chocolate is great.

    If you don't like sweet desserts, this probably won't work for you. I'm not partial to supersweet sweets, but this was a better pecan pie than most, and quite simple to make. I opted out of the caramel sauce - this was good enough on its own.

    Wonderful texture, and consitancy. I loved it; my family loved it as well. My only concern was how quickly and darkly it browned. I may have to decrease the temperature when cooking, but then that's one of the hazards when cooking with a gas stove I suppose.FYI I used the mini morsels as suggested in another review...she's right, Much Better!!!!

    I usually really like your recipes, and this looked SO good when you made it. However, it was just too sweet for me.
