I guess it wasn't that hard but read the directions all the way through before you start. I personally don't like chunky sauce so next time I will replace the whole tomatoes with something smoother but I loved the spiciness of it. Yummy!

We were having some friends over who are vegetarians that love garlic and spice so I gave this a try and I'm very glad I did. Great flavor and a decent "kick" in the sauce. For those of you that like it really spicy you can even add a little more than the recipe calls for. I also added a bag of frozen peas at the end for some color and texture and everyone loved it!

Nice garlic flavor, I put it over ravioli and it was great! Don't forget the basil, really adds a freshness to the sauce.

I love this. Unlike others....I DO taste the garlic. I do however like hot and spicy. My kitchen still smelled like the roasted garlic the next morning. I can't stop going to the fridge to take another bite of the cold leftovers. I didn't use as much pasta as called for so it has tons of sauce. I just didn't have an army to feed. GREAT Emeril!

Short review: Absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a pasta to make. You'll love it.

This dish was AWESOME! It turned out great, had a kick, and everyone loved it. Very, very easy to make, but cook the sauce longer - more flavors are released.

This is very good and filling. The only reason why it's missing one star is because of the garlic puree, which I couldn't do. I think it would've tasted 5-star with the puree.

Very spicy, excellent flavor. Takes a little time, but worth the effort.

I omitted the lemon juice, hot sauce, and tomato sauce (just used 2 cans of whole tomatoes and used just a pinch of red pepper. You know how just a slight bit extra of red pepper can bump up the heat factor. I also diced up some carrots and sun-dried tomatoes plus used some of the oil from the sun-dried tomatoes while sauteing. This is an excellent and easy dish to make.
