    This dish was a definite winner with my family. The flavor and crunchiness of the ham and shallots paired perfectly with the crisp roasted asparagus. We love asparagus and I am always looking for new ways to use it. Thanks for a great recipe!

    This recipie is divine! Even my in-laws love it, and they don't like asparagus. It is easy to do, and gives a really nice flavor- so much better than just steaming them in the microwave!! I never could find "Tasso" so I have used leftover ham, smoked ham lunchmeat and those ham steaks. All of them work just fine.

    I love asparagus and this simple recipe added so much to the flavor. My husband, who hates asparagus, likes this recipe! I made it for Thanksgiving the last two years and I'm making it for Christmas this year. It is sure to please!!

    I used turkey and bacon, and chicken that I've had leftover and tossed in the asparagus. It is such a healthy delicios meal.

    First time I tried it was for Thanksgiving. Our family wanted it again on Christmas. It will be a holiday special from now on with the great flavor and easy to make side dish.

    I am 21 and wanted to contribute to the family thanksgiving this year. I saw this episode and then made it, usually I just pan cook my asparagus but baking them added so much flavor I cooked it with ham trimmings and it was great the only thing at dinner that didnt have left overs!

    I used smoked turkey meat instead of Tasso and Asiago cheese for garnish. My kids love it and I love watching them eat and sometimes ask for asparagus.
