These cookies are light and airy with just enough sweetness. Perfect for guests and gifts.

I've made these cookies for years and they are my all time favorite, no-fail recipe. I use almond extract and have also rolled the dough into little crescents (for a change of pace. They are addictive!

Like everyone said really good! I even added a little strawberry jam to the tops in little imprints that made it great.

These cookies literally melt in your mouth. I use pecans in this recipe and with the buttery taste you simply can't eat just one. My mother made these around Christmas when I was young and we called them Snowball cookies. This is an easy to make recipe, delicious cookie, festive looking, and it's fun to roll the dough into balls with the children.
