Awesome recipe. I must say I hate it when people change a recipe and then review. The only thing I did different was sauté some extra wild mushrooms, add to sauce and serve over angel hair pasta. Amazing recipe. Thank you.

The morel sauce is delicious and the scallops worked so well with it. I could eat this every day--it was fantastic.

Not only did Emeril's recipe give me the perfect sear on my scallop but the sauce was to die for. I was unable to find dried morels at my local Central Market (didn't try Whole Foods so I bought about 5 fresh morel mushrooms and chopped them up as much as I could. Since the recipe calls for the dried morels to be reconstituted I guessed this would work. And as far as I'm concerned, it worked perfectly. My husband doesn't like ANY kind of mushroom so he wouldn't touch it but that just left more for me! Once again, Emeril gave me a recipe for a delicious dish and sauce. Thanks!

This recipe was phenomenal. I didn't have morels so I used button mushrooms and it was delish. I also made enough of the sauce to serve with angel hair pasta. I also only had small scallops so they didn't sear perfectly, but still tasted great!!

I modified the sauce portion of this recipe as we had freshly hunted morels, and used 8 ounces worth as opposed to dry. And poured the sauce over grilled chicken breast and orzo. Very tastey. As we have plenty of sauce left over I'll be freezing it for future use and try it over scallops next time.

I made this as a starter for a Valentine's Day dinner and it was divine. The sauce is really delicious and easy to make. Next time i think i'll make extra sauce and add some angel hair to serve as a main dish. Sauce would also be good with chicken. Of course fresh scallops alone are really good, but the sauce adds some serious richness to it.

VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY DELICIOUS!
I made this for my husban and myself for 2009 NEW YEARS EVE DINNER. WOW! We loved this. Was a little short on the cream but added milk with a little flour. I also served this over ange hair pasta with a pear, celery, walnut salad.

I made this for an anniversary dinner. In an out of character turn, I actually made the recipe exactly as written, except that I served it over fresh angel hair pasta. It was absolutely fantastic. Wouldn't change a thing. Worth making for the special occasion.
