I used Chinese chili oil for the Asian pepper sauce, omitted sesame seeds (b/c of diverticulosis, added low-sodium soy sauce, and stirred in pre-cooked sushi rice for a one-dish side, accompanied by grilled salmon. Delicious!

Used frozen snow peas and regular sesame seeds and results were very very tasty. Will definitely make it again when fresh snow peas are in season.

This is a quick and yummy recipe. We added more garlic, green onion and hot sauce. (We kicked it up a notch! Since snow peas are rather expensive, we now often use broccoli and this dish is just as good with either veggie. I really recommend it.

This is a delicious recipe, as written. There's some alchemy in this recipe. But it's versatile and delicious with other vegetables, too. The first time we made it, we only had green beans, so we blanched them a little longer than the recipe said, and used red pepper flakes instead of hot sauce. Now both the snow peas and green beans are in our regular rotation. YUM.
