I have yet to do the full recipe, but I make the waffles in the morning when my grandkids spend the night and they love them. Thanks to Emeril my grandkids think I’m the best cooker ever!!!!

Takes a bit of multi-tasking in order to do the full recipe. Gravy was good, but a bit simple for my taste. Waffle recipe was awesome. I made great waffles that was light a fluffy. I would recommend using a mixer to whip the egg whites takes forever if you wisk by hand.

Don't listen to the negative reviews ... this IS the ultimate WAFFLE RECIPE. I have tried sooo many waffle recipes only to be disappointed by tough, heavy waffles. These are the polar opposite of those. The waffles are very light and crispy. The recipe yields a lot of waffles (even for a family of 5, we freeze the left-overs and reheat them in the toaster. I have been making these waffles for 5 years now and every family member and friend that eats them, loves them .... and they ask for the recipe. There are several steps to making these waffles, which is why someone who does not pay attention to detail can mess these up, but it is really EASY and very worth the extra time. For the past 12 years, my husband has traveled all over the U.S. for business and often eats at local and chain breakfast joints .... these are by far the best waffles he has ever laid taste buds on. He can be loosely be called a "waffle connoisseur"! Only try this recipe if you are prepared to become addicted to these waffles and are ready for your family to demand them every Saturday morning for the rest of your life. -Bon Apetit

I only made the waffles but that was way more than enough! They're very light, and tasty. A little dry for my taste though.

I made the waffles for my family. They were so good and I received lots of compliments. It was worth the time to make them fresh. I also froze the leftovers to eat later and they were still very tasty.

I only tried the Sausage Milk Gravy and it wasn't what I expected. The gravy was too thick. I had to add more oil and milk and even salt so that it was decent. I don't think I'll try it again.

I found the recipe easy and well laidout, and also my son's really enjoyed making and eating it with me.
