    I made just the waffles from this recipe. I think--and my son agrees--that these are some of the best tasting waffles I've ever had!! Very easy to make--great tasting!! I hated to add syrup or anything to cover the taste. I've added this one to MY recipe book...

    Learned here that whipping up the egg whites is a clever way to disguise an amateur effort and sifting the flour is now standard practice for making waffles. In carb-crazy world, try using whole wheat flour. Sifting it has decent results.

    ITS A GREAT BREAKFAST AND VERY FILLING AND DIFFERENT,. I EXCLUDED THE POACH EGGS SINCE I DON'T LIKE IT !
