I had mixed feelings about this recipe. The bisque is tasty, but I was surprised at how spicy it was, considering the small amount of cayenne. (epicurious.com has the best shrimp bisque recipe on the internet Emeril has a frequent joke on his shows about "redecorating you kitchen" (if you do something wrong The boulettes almost required me to redecorate. The mess they generated was extraordinary. And the taste was kinda bland. They definitely need more seasoning. And the bisque, less seasoning. All in all, OK, but not great.

Too much cayanne, the spice took away much of the taste. I was quite disappointed because it was a lot of work involved. I may try the recipe again, but I would eliminate the cayanne.

Tastes great. Bisque is not thick. I did not try boulettes.

I can't say that I was dissapointed with the soup, but after a full afternoon of work, I expected a bit more flavor.

This soup was very good. It was easy to make, but took a while to cook. Definately worth the effort.
