I hate to sound stupid, but why go through the trouble of dehydrating the garlic, and then "rehydrate" it in the spread? Why not just use fresh minced garlic? Or at worst, the dehydrated garlic in a bottle (I know, not quite the same? 3 hours in the oven is gonna make some pretty expensive garlic chips.

The shrimp are amazing! Great as a po-boy but would taste excellent by itself or over rice or noodles.

This is a really great recipe but mine turned out a little too salty. It is probably my fault but I would just be cautious because between the seasoning, the butter, and the cheese it can get a bit salty.

I made this to go along with pulled pork. This was the best recipe. I loved it as much as the grilled po-boy I got at a local cajun restaurant. Love Emeril's recipes!!

I love shrimp and was looking for something diffent. Rather than making scampi with spaghetti I tried this. I had to scale the recipe down for one person, but after tasting I wish I had made more.

My husband and I made this dinner last night and it was absolutely the BEST dinner he and I have ever had. The shrimp scampi was perfect and the garlic bread was just amazing as the poboy bread. We had extra garlic bread and sauce from the scampi which we devoured the next day. Thanks Emeril for an amazing dish!

I cook a lot, but not with seafood, so this was my first experience working with shrimp. It was perfect and everyone loved it (myself included. Will absolutely make again.
