This is a wonderfully easy and delicious recipe that my family loves and asks for often. Whenever I fix this dish (about every other week, there are never any leftovers.

I have always hated Shrimp Scampi, I wouldn't eat it at all. Until I decided to try out this recipe. OMG, it was soooo good. I couldn't believe how good Shrimp Scampi could be. My husband was in awe and has made me cook it up to 3 times a month!!! It's now our favorite dish.

This is an amazing treat for entertaining. Presents like you've been working for hours and it's elegant to boot .. but the truth is this is so easy to make! Great for that last minute dinner party and fabulous enough for that special dinner you've been planning. Love this one!

Use the best onion you can get- I used a "Maui or "Vidalia", or "Sweet" Onion (don't really know which it was. Used a half of a very large onion. Anyway, found myself savoring the onions and the sauce.
Served with specialty pasta- garlic and pasley right in it. Wow.
Suggest you consider removing the tails- too much trouble to eat. Perhaps fully peeled shrimp. Even the "easy peal" variety took 1/2 hour just to clean.
Used chicken stock- can't imagine a better flavor- wife loved it!
Oh, I also lightly floured the shrimp while I seasoned them- I saw this in a French Cookbook this morning, I think it added some body to the sauce, and some covered the shrimp and pasta well.

Very easy to prepare and results were excellent. Used homemade chicken broth instead of shrimp broth and served over Angel Hair pasta. There were no leftovers! Absolutely Gourmet!

Great Idea cooking in the shrimp stock!
I added fresh rosemary and the garlic at the end and it was great!
thanks!
