I must say we tried this last nite and found it to be the best we ever made or have had eating out. We backed off the garlic and lemon a bit, thought that amount in the recipe would over power the flavor. We did not have shrimp stock, so used turkey stock. Worked out well.
We paired this recipe with our homemade pasta and look out, hit it right out of the park.
Please don't be afraid to try, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely excellent; my husband ate every morsel and he said kapow...

We both really enjoyed the recipe and I took my time making the shrimp scampi; while cooking I told my husband I am cooking...

Emeril is from the same area I grew up as a kid..

Way to go famous chef; person.......

This was very good and simple to make. There were three ingredients I didn't have: onion, shrimp stock (too lazy to make it! and fresh parsley, so I subsituted red onion, seafood stock and parsley flakes. I loved the flavor after the sauce cooked down and thickened. I thought the lemon might be too strong for my husband, but he loved it. I'll definitely make it again!

Emeril has a simple winner in this recipe! Being from the South, we love our shrimp, and this was a very flavorful and satisfying recipe! Fresh ingredients were key, and I added a little more garlic than called-for in recipe. This dish had a simple, impressive plating, and I would serve it at a dinner party! MMMMMMMM fabulous!

This recipe was unbelievable! I added asparagus, and red/green/and orange peppers, plus cut the wine amount slightly by taste. Then I poured it over thin spaghetti noodles..melts in your mouth, to die for!

Overall the dish was tasty. I made it with Fried Rice instead of white rice which gave it the added zip it needed. The shrimp scampi itself was a little bland. It was an easy dish to make and you need to have all the ingredients ready. One more thing, I would serve it without the tails as they were a nuisance while eating.
