It was okay... I too, have made better scampi. I thought I would get something a little more from a professional. In the end I added my own touch and saved the dish

The lemon and onion were too overpowering and the sauce was harsh and bitter/sour. Definitely not recommended.

My husband and I loved this recipe. It is even better the next day. I could not believe how easy it was to make. You must try it!

This was loved by my husband and son alike. I'm allergic to shrimp so I couldn't indulge, but my husband loved this dish because it wasn't swimming in oil and butter. It was very tasty without being heavy in fats. I served with Barilla Plus pasta to make it a bit more healthy! A keeper!

very tasty and super simple although next time i'd make it 5 tablespoons of garlic, 2/3 cup of finely chopped sweet onion and only half of a lemon squeezed. the lemon was too overpowering. it wasn't as balanced as it could have been with the garlic and onion. but overall very delicious dish.

do NOT skip the fresh parsley! YUM!

The recipe printed on the web site did not follow Emeril's recipe on the show. He did not precook the shrimp and add them at the end. He cooked them in the same pan as the onions after he had softened the onions up for a few minutes. Either way - it would work. I followed the method he used on the show and it tasted great. To all the complainers in these reviews - chill out. In the USA, when you order "scampi," you generally expect shrimp sauteed in a garlic butter, served over pasta or rice. If you are looking for a low fat recipe, check out the tofu-loving cooks on this channel and quit your complaining.
