This was fantabulous!!! I love Emeril, but I honestly don't like cooking his recipes because many are very complex and I have found that very few come out good. This was definitely an exception, I don't even like Pesto sauce that much, but this totally changed my outlook. It cost only about $20 to make (I used high quality shrimp, and only 1/2 lb instead of 1.5lbs because it was so expensive. We still had about 4 shrimps each which was plenty. I reduced the cream by 1/4 cup and it came out perfect. I might make it next time with 1 cup of cream and 1/4 cup of milk because it was a little too rich (we both were able to eat 3/4 of our pasta dishes when we normally have 2 servings of other pastas.

This is by far one of the best pasta dishes I have made thus far. My husband absolutely loved this dish. I added a little bit of jared alfredo sauce to this dish, instead of the cream and it turned out very flavourful. Emeril is amazing!

This is a great recipe for a large group. I made this for 12 at a bunco night and it went over very well. This recipe is very easy and looks like you spent hours preparing.

This was simple and had an excellent flavor. Per other reviewer's remarks about the onion being too strong, I used shallots instead. Flavor was great! Thanks, Emeril!

THIS RECIPE WAS VERY GOOD BUT, THE ONION FLAVOR WAS QUITE STRONG. I WOULD CUT THE ONION IN HALF OR USE SHALLOTS. I USED INA GARTENS RECIPE FOR PESTO, FROM THE SHOW TITLED "PASTA, PESTO, AND PEAS". IT WAS GOOD AND EASY.
