This was amazing. I didn't have dark brown sugar only light. I followed the recipe except for the brown sugar. I added an extra teaspoon of the light and it was perfect. I am so excited to share this..

I thought this was fantastic. I didn't go buy the exact measurements of olive oil and balsamic. I added a little balsamic, then little more olive oil. I definitely agree the brown sugar really makes this dressing. It was great on a salad of black beans, corn, red pepper, white and green onions, garlic and herbs... Superb. Will be making this again and again

I realized after mixing the other ingredients that I only had about 1/2 c olive oil. But when I mixed that in and tasted the results, it seemed like the perfect amount. This will be my go-to salad dressing from here on out!

Tastes too much like olive oil for me. And I added all the ingredients including the brown sugar.

Very yummy! So easy to make. I use an old jelly jar with lid so I can shake it up easily instead of using a whisk. I also used white balsamic vinegar and it was tasty:

Excellent! Easy recipe, I used a high quality balsamic, as well as a high quality virgin olive oil, but added just a touch of brown sugar at the end to taste. Will be using this as my go to balsamic vinaigrette from now on! Thank You Emeril!!

Excellent, made just as written using good quality balsamic and olive oil. This is simple to make, I usually let it sit for a few hours so the flavors can blend. Great, easy, and healthier than store bought dressings.

I LOVE this classic balsamic dressing. Delicious in salad, but equally tasty on cold roast beef with a crunchy baguette. I highly recommend making this in the blender on low to medium speed and drizzling in the olive oil so that it emulsifiers.
