    I make this often, at least once every 3 weeks in the winter time. It's easy, it's plain and it's so good. This is as good as comfort food gets. You can doll up the rest of the dinner with smashed garlic-cheddar potatoes, green beans with tomatoes and basil and or even better, a huge bowl of homestyle noodles and butter!!

    Thanks to all the reviews, I added seasoned salt & garlic powder to chicken, used rosemary and added 1 cup of chicken broth. Six hours was not enough, but then again I doubled the recipe. Gravy came out delicious. I am planning on making chicken pot pie with the left overs!

    So easy and tasty. I make whole chickens in the crockpot quite often, I'm sticking with this one from now on, it's my family's favorite!

    My whole family loved the chicken and the gravy/sauce. The only thing was that the breast meat was a little dry and there was very little juices left to make the sauce. However, I think those problems are due to my crock pot which seems to always over cook and dry out my food. Next time I will add some water and maybe cook on low for last 2 hours.

    My whole family loved the chicken even the kids it was GREAT. The only thing I did different was use Rosemary instead of Thyme becouse I dont like the thyme Every one should try this.
