    I never liked green bean casseroles, so I always had steamed green beans because I could never find a great recipe for this ingredient. I was a bit weary about this one but gave it a try. It does take a little time, but very little effort. I actually replaced the water with chicken stock and the broth was absolutely delicious. Thanks Emeril!

    I made these beans for Thanksgiving and EVERYONE loved them. My husband says they are like what his father used to make and he is thrilled after all these years of me trying to capture the right flavor for him. (I never got to try his fathers beans so that made it difficult.Thanks so much for foodnetwork!
