    I tried these for the first time this year. As I make Thanksgiving for my entire family, I look for new recipes that are flavorful but also easy to multi-task around. This is great. Everyone loved them. Also, if (and that's a BIG if you have any left, they reheat really well.

    A definate must! Found your Smoked Gouda Mashed potatoes easy to make, delicious and even better the second day when re-heated. Working at a specialty cookware store, we tend to be VERY critical of recipes, but my entire store bookgroup loved this recipe. Thank you! KG

    We decided to add these to our Thanksgiving menu this year, after practically drooling on ourselves while watching Emeril whip them up.

    Best. Mashed. Potatoes. Ever.

    I'm not over-stating, or exaggerating. The match of the smoky cheese mixed with the creamy dairy and mashed potatoes was heavenly. The rest of the turkey dinner did its best, living in the shadow of these unbelievably delicious potatoes.

    These were so rich and creamy. So much better than the ones made with Chicken Broth!! I personally left out the Gouda this time but plan to use the next time.
