Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped bacon
- 1/4 cup diced ham
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- Salt and black pepper
Directions
In a saucepan cook bacon until fat begins to render. Add ham, onion and garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add beans and 1 cup water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until beans are very tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Drain. Transfer to a warm dish for serving.

Il oved the beans i would take the time and actually cook the beans again
