Discovered Lime Soup in a great restaurant in downtown Cancun and had it several times during a recent trip. This recipe is almost a perfect match. I love the tartness exactly as in the recipe. Very good when matched with a Sol beer.

My family first fell in love with this soup on a trip to Playa Del Carmen so when we returned I had to find the recipe! It's so light, very flavorful and super easy to make! Don't be intimidated by the jalapeno, in the end it's hardly noticable. This is now our family favorite!

made this and ate it all within 2 hours yesterday. very easy to make and tasted a bit like the Vietnamese pho soup or Thai Tom Yum I always love.. cilantro is almost mandatory though, it really balances out the flavor, and I would recommend adding a little bit of the lime juice at a time, because its very poweful and I think 1/3cup is a bit too much.

this is a great summer soup that's easy to make. It could of used a little more kick; so, next time I'll serve raw jalapeno on the side as well. As is, this recipe got all thumbs up from friends.

Ever since visiting Cozumel my wife and I have longed for that simple lime-laced chicken soup that was everywhere and so refreshing. We've tried complicated recipes with disappointing results, so our expectations were not high.

Wow! This recipe is really good and simple to make. Maybe a little more tart that what we enjoyed in Mexico, but very close. I like the suggestion of one reviewer to use key limes - we'll have to try that next time around. Also will try using homemade stock. Since the soup is so simple, the quality of ingredients is critical.

this soup was amazing.it didnt take very long to make and the outcome was so good. my freinds said they were never eating soup out of a can after this. and to make it even easier, you can get cornchips for the top instead of making them. just AMAZING!

This soup, even without chicken is great! It has gotten to the point that I have to make a double or even a triple batch at once. It tastes even better after a night in the fridge.

One of the best and easiest soups I have ever made. We like it spicy so we used two jalapenos, and it was great. I have tried Sopa de Lima in the Yucatan, and this one is very authentic. I also used the 1/3 cup juice from key limes instead, which are more like the limes I had in mexico

I made this with left over roasted chicken. This soup is one of the best soups I've made. Husband and kids alike loved it! REALLY GOOD!!
