I did not make the sauce but tried the meatballs. I used extra lean ground beef, egg white, and did without the cheese because we are on a healthy kick. They were still so amazing!! And the best part? Its so easy!. I used dried ingredients. Its a keeper.

This recipe was the best! First time i ever made meatballs! me and my boyfriend could not stop eating them. I am on a very strict diet. no pasta for me but the meatballs were melt in your melt delicious!

This was the first time I made meatballs, and they came out moist and delicious. I made them for my parent in laws. I just used regular Parmigian cheese, and they were still awesome. My father-in-law and husband raved about the meal! I am definitely making this recipe again! : Thanks, Emeril!

I don't make Spaghetti and Meatballs often; as I think it takes more time and energy than Spaghetti and Meat Sauce. Emeril Lagasse's recipe is relatively easy, quick and absolutely delicious. I was afraid the meatballs would fall apart as I cooked them in the meat sauce. They stayed in tack, were moist and had a very good flavor. I had a couple of jars of Spaghetti Sauce on hand. I used one bottle of bottled meat sauce and made a half recipe of the meat sauce. I used tomato paste instead of tomato sauce. The sauce was a perfect consistency, rather thick and stuck very well to the meat balls and the spaghetti. The sauce had great flavor as well. The hot pepper flakes gave the recipe a unique flavor. It wasn't hot--just a little spicy. Thanks Emeril for a great, easy recipe! Try this recipe! You will like it!

WOW!!! This is a fantastic recipe. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. The meatballs are so good and the sauce compliments them perfectly. I love the little touch of spice in the sauce. PERFECTION! Thanks Emeril!

I have tried other similar recipes but this one from Emeril is the best. I added some basil just before serving to enhance it. Recommend you use non-salt tomate sauce and canned tomates which you can find at most grocery stores.

Perfect!! Best meatballs ever! The whole dish was awesome. I added a little chianti to the sauce towards the end of cooking. You can never go wrong with a recipe from Emeril!
