I even missed the proportions a fair amount, and this still turned out to be a great flavor, one in which I have never tasted personally :

Holy cinnamon and nutmeg! I'm glad I halved those, and will further reduce them next time! I also substituted beef and pork for ground turkey and eliminated the cream at the end. Other than those changes, I followed the recipe and it turned out pretty well! Just a few more tweaks with the spices and it will be perfect!

Delicious !! I omitted the cinnamon and nutmeg altogether , and i didn't have thyme on hand , so i skipped that too . On top of that i didn't bother to use whipped cream and butter , the bolognese was just perfect like that . Although it seems like it takes long to cook this , it's not that bad , it's just the waiting period , that's about it . But other than that , this is a delicious recipe , and will become our favourite !!!

Even though I didn't make this exactly, I have to say this is excellent. A bit time consuming but really good!

i'm thankful i read the other reviews first & cut the cinn & nutmeg in half. i think the full amount would have been too much. it turned out great. i made it for a party & everyone loved it & asked for the recipe. this will become my one & only spaghetti recipe!!

First Bolognese sauce ever made or eaten. I thought it was very tasty, especially the next day! I will have to try out another recipe for comparison but I would definitely make this again!

The cinnamon and nutmeg overpower the sauce. I cooked in a slow cooker for 4 hours while at work. I used beef and veal and doubled the recipe. When I walked in after work, the cinnnamon and nutmeg smell was very strong and was not appetizing. I also found it to have too much liquid. My husband and I prefer a bolognese sauce with less liquid. I will try another recipe next time. Would not make it again.
