I thought it was great. I cooked the green beans til they were very soft for hubby. Left out sesame seeds for the same reason. Will definitely make again; nice side to jazz up a plain entree.

I have about a dozen Emeril recipes that I make regularly and many more that I've tried and enjoyed. However, this one will not be one of them. Very bland, very dry. It should have been spicy, but wasn't. Followed the recipe exactly, but just didn't work for us. I'm not even sure what I can recommend to improve it. Just... bland.

I made this as a side dish to our dinner one Saturday night and several days later my husband was asking for the "Spicy Garlic Green Beans" again. The only thing I changed was saute' the green beans longer (15 minutes for my husband's taste. This recipe has been added to my current recipe box and I plan on making a double batch this Thanksgiving! Thank you Emeril.

The green beans were to hot, I enjoy some fire in my food but this was too much. We ended up throwing it out.

This recipe is really, really good. Words cannot describe it. The sauce from this recipe can be used in many other ways, too. This is a hit, especialy with my 11 year old and his friend. A new twist for beans in this family.
