    I am making this now and can't wait to try it. I am boiling the hot peppers whole, it does not say to cut up - does anyone know if they should be cut??????? I'd like to know for the next batch, thanks!!!!

    WONDERFUL!!! First time I tried to make pickled okra and this recipe is great. Everyone that I have shared them with absolutely love them. They say that this is the best pickled okra that they have ever eaten.

    This is an excellent recipe. The ice bath seems to make the okra crisp. We can't stand to wait the 4 weeks - it's delicious after a week. My son is stationed in Iraq and requests that each care package contain a jar of these - a "taste of home." Thank you, Emeril!!

    be areful if you simmer for a long time to add more water, or it will be very acidic.
