This is an awsome recipe. I suggest at least 12 of set time for the rub on the ribs. It turned out better than just a few hours. This recipe was so easy that my 16yr old daughter was the first to try it and it was perfect for a new cook. Highly recommended.

We REALLY enjoyed these ribs. They were perfectly tender without falling off the bone and being messy. The sauce was different and just spicy enough without being overwhelming. We were able to make them ahead of time and just heat them up and glaze them right before the party. We'll make these again, only make lots more because they disappeared FAST!

I made these ribs a few times, and I think they are FANTASTIC. The first time, I used IBC rootbeer, and the way that's spiced, it actually was too "pointed" when reduced. Use a more "regular" root beer like A&W. The flavors were rounder and just fantastic.

I made this several times... my favorite recipe from the whole site so far. :

If you want your ribs to smell and taste like potpourri, this is your recipe. Other than that, this recipe is bad news - sorry Em!

Everyone loved these... served them with a big salad and grilled corn on the cob. The glaze took significantly longer to reduce and thicken for me though, but it was worth the wait.

My friends almost liked the ribs more with just the rub. The glaze was good but, over all, they treated it like a novelty. I'll cook this again for a change of pace, but I think I'll just stick with the rub.

These ribs were absolutely amazing and delicious. The sauce was easy to put together, the ribs were tender, tasty, delicious and mouth watering. They are now my family's favorite! Thanks Emeril!
