We served these at a casual party and at first people thought the combination odd. But they loved them and asked for the recipe. When I make ribs now, this is the only kind I make.

This recipe was simpler than it seems and it was, by far, the best ribs I have ever had! The orange and cinnamon flavors made the glaze amazing.

Followed the everything except the bitters (didnt have those on hand. 2 hrs at 275 for the ribs, but the glaze was really questionable to start. Cooking up the glaze was really smelly, and I was starting to question the whole thing. But I stuck with it. This really was one of the best ribs I've ever cooked. Right on the money. Had 6 people over to the house for dinner and they realy loved it. So, be patient with the glaze. Cook it down, and hold your nose during the process, but the end result is amazing.

I'd love to try the recipe over the weekend but I've never heard of Caribbean Pick-A-Peppa sauce .
Any idea where to get it?

They were spicy. There was root beer. There was Bourbon. A word to the wise. Make sure that you remember to remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. It will make them much easier to enjoy.

The sauce was a little putzy, but worth it. Cook longer than receipe indicates by about half an hour.
Leave them covered and they will fall off the bone.

I used to (key words "used to" make ribs that I marinated in Tequila, grated orange peel, pepper and EVOO. The family craved them. Last 4th of July I made these ribs and the tequila ribs. The only food left over were the tequila ribs. These ribs are delicious and the sauce compliments the ribs perfectly. NICE JOB EMERIL.

This dish is delicious, but clear your afternoon as it takes awhile to make. The ingredients for the bourbon sauce are also hard to find in some grocery stores. Plan ahead to make sure you have what you need.
