This was the best ribs I've ever had, ribs were tender and juicy. I didn't want to share them, but I had too so everyone tasted what I did.

    very tasty glaze.
How long should the unused portion of the glaze last, before it goes bad?

    Thank you

My wife doesn't normally like ribs,so I don't usually go to cook them, but she loved these and said "you can make these again any time" Thanks Emeril.

These are absolutely the most tender, flavorful, fall-off-the-bone ribs I've ever had. The borbon/root beer glaze is nectar of the gods. However, do not skimp on ingredients--I went to my favorite local butcher for the babybacks and paid significantly more than you would at the grocery store. I also used Wild Turkey 101-proof bourbon & IBC root beer.

These took forever to make. MUCH longer than the recipe says, i swear they were baking half of the day. The sauce and rub were WONDERFUL though. I took the ribs out of the oven finally and thickened the sauce and grilled them. They came out much better! I think I"d rather have the combo on chicken or a leaner cut of pork. But I'll def make this recipe again.

I did this for a holiday cookout and people rolled their eyes at the idea of ribs without a tomato and hickory based sauce, and then made faces when I said it was root beer based--till they tasted it! This dry rub/glaze combo is outstanding and is well worth the time to prepare. Very sweet and tangy.

Not a complete substitute for smoked ribs over coals, but WOW darn good. The sauce is great. I plan to use it in a spray bottle when smoking. Unique flavor.
