    I only made one modification. Since I was out of ketchup, I substituted a 12oz bottle of Chili Sauce (Heinz and it came out great. I've never tried it with the ketchup after that.

    I couldn't wait to make this recipe. The beef ribs were tender and fell off the bone. The sauce on the other hand was flavorless. It wasn't spicy at all!! It was very bland and too ketchupy. I am very disappointed with this recipe.

    The ribs are tangy and tender, pretty good. Beef ribs just aren't very meaty (at least the ones at my grocery stores. It's the potato salad that is absolutely delicious. If the recipes were split up, the potato salad would get five stars--it is so easy to make, I never would have thought to put cilantro in my potato salad.

    Emeril you out did yourself with these ribs. If you haven't tried these yet you are missing out on great food. I use the large beef ribs wiht this sauce and it's FANtastic... TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT!!!

    These ribs and the potato salad that goes with it are SO delicious!!! We LOVED both recipes ... I didn't understand the crab boil with the ribs but it really does flavor them in one layer, then you get another layer of flavor with the sauce... Thank you, thank you, Emeril!!!
