I have never made a trifle, it is so easy and great for larger parties. I wanted to make strawberry shortcake for a 25 person party, that doesn't work well. So, I found this recipe and it's fast and simple. I make just the strawberry coulis, I added water to mine to help it boil. Also, I used raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries in between each layer of angel food cake. I topped it with cool whip and threw a couple rasp/blue berries on top and it looked like I spent hours on it! It was all gone!
