I've gotten more compliments on this recipe than any other I've ever done. Everyone loves this Rib Roast. Even people who normally don't eat a lot of meat.

I made this for Easter Sunday dinner and it was a huge hit. It was very tender and flavorful. The only problem I had was the red wine burned along the edges and I was unable to use it for the au jus. But it really didn't matter, as I just made au jus without it. This recipe is really worth trying. My husband is anxious for me to make it again.

My family thought there was a new CHEF in town in my house! I'm not a garlic person, but the seasoning had me asking for more. My hubsand is still talking about how delicious the prime rib taste-he's spoiled now and my family decided I will be responsible for this dish for the holidays. - thks EMERIL

I was told that it was better than any other Prime Rib you could find on New Years Eve. Recipe is absolutley perferct for a rare to medium-rare Prime Rib with a tons of flavor.

In 37 years of marriage, my wife and I had never before done a standing rib roast, and this was FANTASTIC!! My wife has an aversion to garlic, so we only roasted one whole garlic, but it came out tasting terrific! We were so pleased we said we'll really look forward to making this for our sons who live out of state and couldn't be here to enjoy!
