The illusion was complete...this recipe not only tastes wonderful, but makes you look like a superhero. It was easy and made my house smell wonderful. As guests arrived they could hardly wait until it was time to eat.

This was actually my first attempt at a full 6 lb standing rib roast, and thanks to this delicious recipe, I enjoyed it tremendously. Thank you so much Emeril!! I'm only 31 and cook like I've been doing this for 30 years thanks to your tip and hints!

This came out nice. A simple flavoring for a Rib Roast. Suggestion... If you can afford it go for USDA Prime. I used USDA Choice for this roast and as I said it was very good. But I've used a similar Emeril "rub" with USDA Prime and it's almost like night and day. USDA Prime Rules - if you can afford the $12+ per pound cost. Another tip. Have the buthcer cut off the ribs and tie them back on. Much easier to slice uniformly.

Turns out a tender, spicy slice of meat with minimal prep.
