    This was my first ham that I ever made. It was hard to find the steen's syrup in New York City. I settled for Lyle's syrup and that worked just fine. The recipe was great, simple, and to the point. The glaze itself is great because the ingredients make it a good combination of sweet and salty. Not too sweet, not too salty. It is great!!
    Everyone loved it! Even those who are afraid to try new things they never have! Thanks Emeril! This recipe is definitely a keeper!!

    this is so much easier and less confusing than Alton Browns,(which comes up first on the ham search YOU ARE THE BEST EMERIL!

    This is a great recipe that satisfied multiple palates and ages at our holiday buffet.
    Easy to prepare. Added the juice of 2 fresh squeezed navels to the baste - then a tad of the baste in between layers before popping in the oven.

    We are in the middle of watching the show, and were convinced on havng a ham this holiday. It will be our main course. And Emeril is right... TV companies need to invent 'smell-o-vision'.
