This worked out really well and tasted great...a few things to mention:
It doesn't say where to put the red pepper flakes but i mixed them in the sauce and it worked well. I used 1 teaspoon because i was scared it would be too spicy but could have used the full 1 1/2 teaspoon
Also, the sauce wasn't quite enough for me and i just added water to the hot pan with the sauce to make it coat the mixture. The cornstarch on the meat helps keep it thick.
You could also double the sauce...just get more calories that way and the flavor was great still just by thinning it down with water in the pan.
I had to do 3 batches to brown the meat, and it could have used more broccoli

Much easier than I thought. I won't have to order this out anymore. Next time I might double the sauce ingredients so my leftovers will have more sauce.

I didn't use the black vinegar (couldn't find it or the ginger (not a big fan used regular honey and fresh broccoli and all the other listed ingredients and BAM!!!!!! Definately double the sauce it is soooo delicious!!!! Could definately use chicken instead of beef. Great job Emeril, this is certainly a keeper!!!! Family of picky, finiky eaters loved it too, BIG plus right there!!! Put it in a chinese food take out containers and fool your family, I swear they will never know!!!!

My husband and I loved this dish. We substituted rice vinegar and balsamic vinegar for the black vinegar...also used regular honey and frozen broccoli. I loved how fast this dinner was to make...especially with the frozen broccoli, I didn't have to chop veggies. We will definitely be making this again.

I'm a big fan of Emeril. I think he's a genius. This recipe however was very disappointing. The fault may be mine, I may have done something incorrectly as far as ingredients but I was expecting a lot more than I got and won't be making this recipe again.

I also subbed balsamic and white vinegar for the black vinegar. Worked great. Sauce wasn't too thick or thin. But i will make more sauce next time. I also tried this recipe with chicken and green beans instead of beef and broc. Also great. Consider adding peanuts, a little sesame oil, or dried hot peppers.
