Our family was delighted to have company from Slovakia. We served them this delicious cake and called it "USA CAKE".

I made a box angel food cake- which was very easy! Then used half strawberries and half blueberries (instead of all strawberries inside of the cake.

After frosting the whole cake with real fresh whipping cream--(hold on to your arteries... I decorated the cake with sliced strawberries and blueberries which made the cake look so very "USA Patriotic"! All 10 guests just LOVED the cake! Go ahead and serve your guests some "USA Cake"--It will make you proud to be an American!!!

If a store bought angel food cake is used, this recipe is very easy and quick. The whipped topping is not needed to make this great. The cake is great with just the filling.
