    I made this for a multi-cultural potluck we had at work. I had to make a few changes...I couldn't find rhubarb, so I substituted with granny smith apples. And I couldn't find a small bottle of irish whiskey. So for the topping, I just used a tspn of vanilla. It came out delicious, and got lots of compliments!

    I made this recipe for a Fourth of July party and it was a great hit! I am taking this recipe with me on vacation to enjoy at the shore.

    This was incredibly easy to make, and I don't bake... Served it for St. Patrick's Day dessert. My wife, who hates rhubarb, admitted in front of all our guests that this dish was deliscious! Many guests said, "Wow!" The whisky butter was a nice touch and it was subtle... most people didn't even taste "whiskey" until I told them... they just noticed the butter was fruity.

    Great receipe for lovers of strawberry-rhubarb pie. The Whiskey Butter was awesome - could be used with many other dishes (I don't drink, but I loved this butter. Very easy receipe that will get you lots of applause.
