I did this and it was really awesome. So easy to do...I added mushrooms and it really gave it an even better taste. The picture does not do this recipe justice.

I make this all the time. I buy frozen bread dough (loaf types thaw over-night or all day, and roll it out. The frozen dough is really good now. Stick to a name-brand, better than the grocery store brand. I likie Rose's but don't know if it's avail in your area. I even just use spinach and parmesan and garlic sometimes, and serve it with soup in the winter. My kids love it!

This is a great recipe, but am I the only one having trouble with the dough splitting as it bakes in the oven. This has happened a few times now. I make his pizza dough recipe very carefully, and let it rise the appropriate time, then roll it out at room temperature. Once put together it looks great. I seal and brush it with the egg wash, but every time I take it out of the oven, it has split in a few spots. I can't figure out why. It appears the dough is rolled up nice and evenly. If anyone else has had this problem, I'd appreciate hearing how you solved it.

Oh my goodness! I was craving a good Stromboli but had never made it! I turned to Emeril as he has NEVER steared me wrong yet. This was great! I purchased the pizza dough that I had purchased many times before from a little grocery store so that made it quicker but it definately was not difficult nor time consuming in my book! I made a meat (Italian Sausage, pepperoni...etc. (no ham and a vege (artichoke hearts, olives, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes. They were both a hit! LOVED the peppers! I am making this again tomorrow for company!
Thanks Emeril!

Good things don't come easy. It's a lot of work, and making dough for the first time was rough. We couldn't get the right consistency. In the end, it wound up looking sloppy and we should have cooked longer than the recipe called for. I nixed the ham because everyone said it was salty (as well as the jalepeno and olives and it was still so good. I bet it's even better with all the other stuff and when it's made the right way. Emril has NEVER failed me - his recipes are always amazing.

Great taste! Next time I would cut back on the ham and pepperoni. Adding the sausage, onions and peppers was a wonderful taste addition. This would be great for a Super Bowl Party!

Awesome. Great mix of flavors, the first one I made looked funny, but the second one came out perfect! I had to bake it a little more to get a golden crust.
