This was absolutely delicious. I'll make the meatballs, bake them and freeze them. I also freeze the Basic Red Sauce and use it for lots of other foods!

Everyone loves these, from my husbands 85yr. old uncle to our 8yr. old grandson. The red sauce is the best. I always make extra. Great leftovers!

Awesome sauce, its so easy to make and so simple. I always get compliments whenever I make it with the meatballls. I've given this recipe to many friends.

I made this recipe exactly as written, except I bought Emerils Essence spice rather than make it. The sauce was wonderful! The meatballs were a little bland and felt like they needed some bam to them. They tasted a bit meatloafy and bland (cafeteria meatballs?. Next time I will sub ground hot sausage for part (or all of the ground beef. I really toasted the buns well and thought it added a nice crunch.

Emeril...Your the best! I made this and everyone loved these! Now I even use the meatballs and sauce for my spaghetti and also my lazagna. This will definately be a keeper!

I like the meatballs kicked up a little by using a 1/2 pound of Italian sausage. The red sauce is great for dipping the hoagies, on other pasta's and making the best lasagna!

These were very easy and my husband loved them. I had meatballs left over as it's just the two of us and I'm making spaghetti and meatballs with them and the left over sauce...should be great!

Emeril's red sauce is fantastic. I have already made other recipies with the sauce I had left over.
The sandwiches were very good and worth all the time. Next time I make this I will probably do it on the weekend.
